When I was 15 years old the wallpaper in my teenage bedroom was covered with photos, split seconds in time engraved for eternity. For as long as I can remember photography has been a part of me. My name is Emilie, but here people call me Em. I say “here”, because California is new to me. I was born in northern France and lived in Paris for the last 18 years. I traveled often and on one of my adventures I met the man who would become my husband. Life with him has brought me to California and I want to continue photographing life as I see it, capturing all of the passion and poetry around us.
The most important part of my life as a photographer is YOU! I would love to be the one who captures your most precious moments: a kiss, an emotion, a sly look, the tenderness of a caress on the cheek, a hand in your hair, the laughter of your children, tears of joy, your future partner kneeling before you, a hand resting on your pregnant belly, or a simple, happy day. I want to be the one who engraves your story, your love, into eternity. And I am already looking forward to meeting you. So what do you say?
